Songs played during our birthday celebration with Danny Cox
On Sunday, July 23rd 2023, Listyn KC host Kelsyn Rooks was joined on stage by Danny Cox for a “fireside chat” in front of our audience They talked about Danny's personal music history, favorite recordings, influences, albums that changed his life, musicians he played with through the years – during which we shared selected tracks from relevant recordings. After a short break we dimmed the lights and immersed the audience in the experience of collectively listening to an original vinyl pressing of Danny’s 1974 classic “Feel So Good”, which itself will be celebrating a 50th anniversary in 2024. All of the music was played back on our world-class stereo system brought in for every Listyn KC show.
