Mark Knopfler is a renowned English guitarist, singer, and songwriter, best known for his work with the rock band Dire Straits. His distinctive fingerpicking style and soulful vocals have earned him widespread acclaim. Knopfler's music often blends elements of rock, blues, folk, and country, creating a unique and captivating sound. He is celebrated for his storytelling abilities and his ability to craft memorable melodies.
Rabbi Scott White was born and raised in the KC metro, graduating from Shawnee Mission East in 1975 and KU in 1979. He was spiritual leader of Congregation Ohev Sholom in Prairie Village until he retired in 2019. Scott got his first guitar on his 9th birthday, his first hi-fi system on his 16th, and resumed collecting LPs about 20 years ago.
There are 40 seats at The Listyning Room and seating is on a first-come first-seated basis. Due to the popularity of Listyn KC events, we expect a full house.
