Each month Listyn KC features a “lighter” show. 2 hours in length, and presented as a fundraiser for the Center For Recorded Music at our new home in Leawood, The Listyning Room.
Kelsyn Rooks will revisit old favorite Listyn KC shows and take you on deep dives into the C4RM record vaults. As is expected with Listyn KC, all recordings played back on our world-class stereo systems! For the August Listyn KC Light we are revisitng a classic in a new way. We'll be playing a new copy of Mobile Fidelity’s 180s SuperVinyl 33RPM LP release, sourced from the Original 1/4" / 15 IPS analog master tapes to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe. Thanks to Mobile Fidelity for donating a copy to the C4RM Library.
