Dead Rekordings is back at The Listyning Room in March.  Bob Barnes, seasoned technologist, devoted "Dead Head", and passionate music lover is back from his long strange trip and ready to jam!

Bob will be playing selections from recordings made in the "Wall of Sound Show" era, originally released in October 1998 as Dick’s Picks Volume 12.  This release from the Grateful Dead contains the 2nd set of the June 26th, 1974 show from the Providence Civic Center and the 2nd set of the June 28th, 1974 show from the Boston Garden.  These shows contain many extended musical jams, as was typical of the Wall of Sound era from the Grateful Dead.  We will hear the Volume 12 shows played from newly released, limited edition, 180 gram vinyl LPs.  These LPs have been recently remastered from the original analog tapes with a maximum of 5000 copies produced for sale.
